Hi I was wondering if any of you had played the new Mysteries Of The Ancients. I don't know how to get through the firepit after you jump in to the water. Can anyone help?
You just have to time your jumps properly. As a hint, there are nineteen steps between the water and that first firepit. Then there are fourteen steps between the first firepit and the second. You can use the V command to hear how far something is from you. You can safely jump firepits when they're zero meters from you. Just keep in mind that the view command usually reads starting farthest from you and coming closest. So it'll read the second firepit before the first. But if it says Fire zero meters you are in position to jump safely.
I personally use the C key to know when to jump. You jump the first one when you hear Location 108 1 and then next one is at 88 1. When you come back you jump at 82 and 102. So the fires take 8 steps.
